Been given morning off due to not enough work coming in (chicken pocks). Very pleased with the coat on this one has some very nice natural folds. Shame the hand is a bit boxy but the hair is nice and free especialy like the space at the back of the head giving the impression of baldness with out putting a line round the skull stating it.
There was light from both sides which threw the composition a little i would have been nice with one stronger light source and maybe some darker blacks to help frame the image. The figure all sit verticaly there is no story or movement in there bodies but they are all travling to work and not to a football match so its ok if they are al a bit stiff.
Some nice things to this one shame i didnt set it on the page properly . Am pleased that every line has purpose and that the placement of them sits well.
Im a little disapointed with this one. It has all the things i like such as the windows and shadows using spit but its a bit boring. Not sure if its because the people are just there or if because there arnt any wild lines ,everything is where it should be which leaves nothing for the unexpected.
I am pleased with the man with a hat in the background he has a bit of charicter and his pose is very natural. Works well with the light also maybe a bit more contrast over all would have been better.
strong forms in this one that im pleased with. I like when the windows on the tram frame things somthimes. also this drawing has nice depth. If i had wet it I think it would have been detremental.
Didnt use spit on this one but is a nice enough litle sketch dosnt have the same atmosphere as the wet ones but is good practice for keeping eye in.
